Hopesway is seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Disability Support Workers. We are committed to providing high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities, helping them achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

Role and Responsibilities: As a Disability Support Worker, you will:

  • Provide personalized care and support to individuals with disabilities.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
  • Support clients in achieving their personal goals and participating in community activities.
  • Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all clients.
  • Collaborate with other support staff and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of services provided.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in disability support or a related field is preferred (Mental Health Experience - an added advantage).
  • Relevant qualifications in disability support, community services, or healthcare.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Relevant background checks (e.g., Working with Children Check, National Police Check).

Certifications

First Aid and CPR, Working with Children Check or Blue card, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Certificate 3 in Disability, Infection Control training, Valid Drivers Licence, Valid Comprehensive Car Insurance.
